2027 Trials will be held on Friday 8th January at Eltham Terrace.
| The League are introducing a new process to allow SLKPA Premier Division players only, a route into the 2027 squad without the need to trial. Any Premier Division player that doesn't currently play for any SLKPA Interleague team can apply to be fast tracked into the squad for 2027 by simply notifying the League that they wish to join. A list of players will be compiled. Depending on the number of spaces available, player experience and skill level etc each player will be assessed and those that are successful will be added to the 2027 squad without the need to trial. Those that are unsuccessful will be encouraged to trial along with any other players that trial (or re-trial) from the lower divisions. The closing date to apply is Monday 30th November 2026. |

(i) Retain your spot by playing regularly in the current Interleague squad
(ii) Attend and win through from annual squad trials usually towards the start of the calendar year.
(iii) In an emergency situation only via a wildcard if a team is in need of more players, subject to the discretion from the SLKPA Interleague Secretary.
Each season players are selected for each team on merit based on ability and experience etc.
Players that perform well will be considered for promotion to a higher team. Similarly players that perform poorly are subject to dropping down to a lower team.
Players in the 3rd team that don't perform as well as any player that fails to attend 50% of Interleague matches (in any team) may be subject to retrial the following season.
Players will now be expected to purchase their own team shirt and pay for their own accommodation fees at national events etc.
However, any team money won will be shared in its entirety between the
competing players up to a ceiling of £1000.
